Meet The Trainer

April Bilodeau grew up in Massachusetts riding in the hunters and equitation along the East Coast. As a junior, she showed in the Pony Hunters through the 3’6 Equitation and USET Medal, qualifying and attending multiple local and national finals.

April spent time teaching and riding for area trainers before opening Dove Hill in 2020. With her keen eye for the riders needs and her genuine love for the horses, the business quickly expanded to the 20-stall facility it is today.

As a trainer, her riders have shown on the local circuit as well as at national finals, bringing home ribbons from USEF Junior Hunters Finals, the National Horse Show, and more.

April is also the Senior Editor at the nationally recognized hunter/jumper magazine, The Plaid Horse, is the Secretary for the Massachusetts Horsemen’s Council, and sits on the Board for the United States Hunter Jumper Association Zone 1 Committee.
